By Lyakota Richard Kent, | Project Leader!
Welcome to out 1st "Thank you!! Report:"
Our Dear Supporters,
My Name is Richard, am the project leader-Allied Organization for Rural Children Education. Perhaps we may all wonder how this kind of rural effort was put together! In this report, you will be briefed with the background about our project in photos on global giving, and its early fundings and how it’s been a reality! You’re all welcome!
I would like to say thank you all for taking up our Fund raising challenge! We are nearly spending a week since we started and hope this report will enable you even make better decisions to help! Please make as much effort, your generosity will resonate in the minds of our society for years after! If a country can’t feed al its people with marketable education and a hand comes up to help, then the quench of this thirst is so impacting!
I have gratitude to officially welcome the Global giving challenge Launch of the “Early Integration Learning Centre for400 Rural students” This project is an experience from Epals letter exchange efforts which we have run in public school by exchanging learning resources with different teachers. Correspondence learning has bee more costly to post physical letters and would hinder exchange in time and feed ck delays. So when you chose to donate, you will play an important part in a rural educational innovation:
We want to greatly thank Global giving for giving us this opportunity to let the world learn there are hurting people in the field of education in Kiboga. Thank you for approving our efforts and cause. Global giving has made a gift already of helping in making a lasting difference in the educational revolution appeal for our students. We come to school to be Heroes and as learners and teachers, our experiments are: letter writing, teleconferencing, and sharing of class room materials. We aim to be prime epal educators capable to revolutionalize the poor trend of education disparity in Kiboga Uganda.
The purpose of modern education should aim at, nurturing, nourish, and evoke a consciousness and perception alternatives to the consciousness and perception of a dominant culture in our global world. If we each do a good thing, we will then open the blocked windows in the world today for our learners.
In this report, allow me feature project photos to show how our past friends have helped. We thank each one of you who have been to Kiboga and much
for visiting and believing in our early vision as an Ngo and our wish to have a model rural school. Thanks a lot for setting the pace with your generous donation to buy our school/NGO land, and setting part to start constructing the school Centre. We are setting up a 4 room Block which will be completed by Mach 2015. Thanks for giving us this tribute. Many of you who have been to Uganda have already seen the progress of this work.We thank also volunteer from Japan who helped us much in agricultural fud raising. We thank all our kiva friends via kiva.org and many other places.
I also thank our supporter from Guatemala,
Who also have been to Kiboga, spent a vocation of a two weeks working with me to steer Early Childhood learning for hard to reach children. I thank you particularly with pre-schools ideas in Guatemala. I thank you for making our first donation on Globalgiving.org. In addition, I want to warmly thank our friends at College Park Elementary school who have been our Epals partner and friend since 2006 to date. I look forward to having better class room conferences with this project with your school. College Park school is running an activist fund raising in their school for a water Tank project for our Ngo and school-in Irvin California, thanks a lot to you and your students for your support!
Great thanks to our friend in Italia for helping us for the past three years to implement a Young Readers school project to distribute learning materials to schools. Your annual financial support of Euros 300, in 20012, 2013 and 2014 respectively has been a great help! There have been many epals friends since 2006, thanks to you all for your efforts to help epals students from Kiboga and Uganda.
Last, I would like to thank our new and up coming donors, and mostly our Global giving challenge donors, thanks for making these timely donations! Thanks for helping us with our first time international fund raising.
Please consider making a donation today, it is so important that a rural NGO may have a chance to continue getting this donation window from Global giving. Your donation of $200, $300, $100, $50, or $10 this week will greatly help us reach our week’s challenge of 1300 and more so reaching $5000 challenge Goal by 31st December.
I would like to again thank you all for your timely donations and making it possible for this particular effort. Please feel free to visit us if you are in Uganda and help send us your comments at kidscentres@yahoo.com.
With much regards,
Lyakota Richard Kent,
Project Leader
