The EARLY LEARNING INTEGRATION & TELECONFERENCING CENTER (ELI&TC ) is for children (ages 6-15). The Center will provide non-residential curriculum and Information Communication Technology (ICT) lesson integration and early intervention services for rural school children to use the Internet for collaborative education and sharing of modern resources in education development in the Central and South western region of Uganda.
In order to develop classroom collaboration in the past, we have used Epals (epals.com) and schoolsonline.org, these children in rural areas who had access to international letter exchanges, resource sharing, and exposure to international teaching forums showed an impressionable improvement in school attendance and a more positive outlook towards higher education. The Epals exchange helped gather support of local students and guardians to continue in school and promoted international peace and
We will be able to run an Early ICT Training & Skill Center that provides teleconferencing and curriculum exchange programs and partnership with international teachers and schools; Throughout their participation in the Early ICT Training Skill Program. We are aiming at empowering rural communities and isolated areas of Uganda in order to build a better future and society.
We are looking forward to creating solutions towards addressing rural global education inequality, poverty and international understanding, and especially to raising the self-esteem of rural children and women who seek to empower themselves through education and communication.
