On November 31, 2021, the "Development Incubator" initiative successfully took place the last seminar in the series of events organized by For Vietnamese Stature Foundation (VSF) and the ABG Leadership Institute (ABG). This is a program exclusively for young people including the participation of DynaGen students.
The young generation possesses an open mind, creativity, a desire to contribute and cares about social issues. For them, sustainability is not only a movement but a way of life that needs to be shaped, pursued and spread. That is the message sent to young leaders in three sessions of "Development Incubator".
The "Development Incubator" initiative is co-implemented by VSF and ABG. The program was conducted with 3 seminars for more than 60 young leaders and 4 experienced speakers in the field of development: Ms. NTH - Member of ABG Leadership Institute, Mr. VTX - Environment Program Manager at VSF, Mr. DTP - Founder of Center for Sustainable Development Studies (CSDS) and Ms. LL - Socio-Cultural Program Coordinator at the Goethe Institute Viet Nam.
The series of seminars aims to share knowledge about development philosophy, development discourse and design thinking, which will help young people implement effectively and sustainably community initiatives. Besides, the seminars are also an opportunity for the speakers to inspire and encourage confidence in young leaders. Through seminars, the organizers also aim to build and connect youth networks to jointly implement initiatives for the community.
Talking about the reason for organizing the program, Ms. NTH - who has more than 20 years of experience in founding and leading non-profit development organizations and initiatives in Vietnam shared: “There are seeds of growth in each of us, whether working in any field, whether in government, business or in social organizations. VTX (VSF) and I built the Initiative "Development Incubator" with the desire to share and promote the seeds of development in each person. We also expect that after the seminars, each young person will shape a growth mindset, build the right direction for their ideas and initiatives.”
Three seminars were held online and attracted the participation of more than 60 young leaders interested in the topic of community development, including DynaGen students. In addition to sharing knowledge about development philosophy, discourse, and design thinking, young people have the opportunity to interact with speakers who have had many domestic and international experiences.
