Summary

We support integration while promoting inclusion. As a result, well-being, interactions, and learning environments thrive. We provide diagnostic and specialized education services for children and adolescents with autism and training to those who interact with and teach neurodiverse students. Professionals who educate neurodiverse students build skills and strategies, and children with autism develop to become more independent and autonomous. Empowered, they collectively flourish.

Challenge

a) 1/7 is neurodiverse. b) 1/36 has Autism. c) Inclusion in educational settings has become a significant challenge. d) In Venezuela, 83% of households have an income below the poverty line (Encovi survey). e) Government-supported or financed programs are very scarce. Financial support is the decisive enrolling factor for those individuals and institutions applying for or participating in our training programs and educational services. How do we ensure access to education today and tomorrow?

Solution

We have expanded our training services for individuals and educational institutions to drive integration into mainstream education. To facilitate and develop children's independence and autonomy, we have increased our diagnostic capabilities and are operating two shifts in our classroom psychoeducational program. We are also developing a new generation of specialists and younger talent within Autismo en Voz Alta. In 2024-2025, we aim to serve 650 families directly and many more indirectly.

Long-Term Impact

Operate, provide, and introduce educational services to address the developmental needs of those with autism, with access to need-based financial support. Promote inclusion through teacher training within mainstream educational settings. For many coping with autism and those who teach in neurodiverse educational settings, we are a leading educational alternative in Venezuela. We are committed to moving forward, learning, and improving. Your trust and unwavering support motivate us.
