Since Can'd Aid's last report, we have donated two truckloads of canned water (approximately 50,000 cans). The first was to members of Navajo Nation for ongoing Covid-19 relief, and the second was in response to extreme flooding in Tennessee.

As we are nearing the end of the year, I wanted to share this year's impact through our Water + Reponse program with you. In 2021, with the help of supporters like you, and canning partners Oskar Blues Brewery, Sleeping Giant Brewing Company, Ball Corporation and Atlas Copco, Can'd Aid has donated 647,200 cans of water to communities in need:

  • Navajo Nation (Sage Memorial Hospital) - Ganado, AZ | 50,400 cans (January)
  • Superior Unified School District - Superior, AZ | 27,600 cans (January)
  • Chinle Chapter House - Chinle, AZ | 36,000 cans (February)
  • Kayenta Fitness Center - Chinle, AZ | 16,800 cans (February)
  • City of Austin - Austin, TX | 50,400 cans (February)

  • Houston Food Bank - Houston, TX | 50,400 cans (March)
  • Ben  E. Keith - San Antonio,TX | 25,200 cans (March)
  • Breathitt County Emergency Mngmt Agency - Jackson, KY | 48,000 cans (March)
  • McKinley Mutual Aid Gallup, NM | 50,400 cans (March)

  • Birdsprings Chapter House - Leupp, AZ | 50,400 cans (August)
  • Waverly Donation Center - Waverly, TN | 40,000 cans (August)

With our new canning partner on board (Sleeping Giant Brewing Company) we are continuing to streamline and grow our canning efforts and ultimately double our distribution quantities - providing more support, faster. Thank you for your ongoing support, this work would not be possible without your generous donations, and we are grateful!
