Progress Report – February 2026

1. New Milestone: San Francisco Javier School

Thanks to the continued support and trust of the GlobalGiving community, we are proud to announce the launch of our newest intervention at the San Francisco Javier School in Caracas, Venezuela. This project is a critical step in ensuring a healthy and dignified learning environment for the next generation.

  • Direct Reach: 844 beneficiaries (760 students and 84 teachers and administrative staff).
  • Key Infrastructure Interventions:
    • Full System Rehabilitation: A complete overhaul and optimization of the school’s water distribution network.
    • Water Purification Technology: Installation of a high-standard water treatment system to guarantee a continuous supply of safe, potable water.

2. Sustainable Impact: Beyond Infrastructure

With this new site, we have now successfully rehabilitated three schools, reaching a milestone of 3,600 people with direct access to safe water.

At IFC, our approach goes beyond engineering; we believe in community empowerment:

  • Health Education: We conduct specialized training workshops on the vital importance of safe water and food hygiene practices.
  • Knowledge Transfer: By teaching communities about filtration systems and maintenance, we ensure that the impact is lasting, creating conscious and empowered local leaders.

Next Steps: Expanding Our Reach

Our goal at IFC is clear: no child in Venezuela should have their education hindered by the lack of basic services. We are actively mobilizing resources to replicate this successful model in more schools across the country.

How You Can Help Your ongoing support allows us to transform lives, one drop at a time. We continue to work tirelessly to ensure that access to quality water is a daily reality, not a privilege.
