I am delighted to enclose the latest report from Doorstep School.
Collaboration with the Ministry of Education continues on Foundational Literacy and Numeracy building initiatives across 14 slum communities, 6 schools on wheels and with 34 government municipal schools in Mumbai metro city.
It is important to note that 27000 children in the city of Mumbai city have benefited from educational programs run by Doorstep School in the year 2022-2023.
Child Action and the Hemraj Goyal Foundation look after educational needs of 350 of these children and we are delighted to report 96% retention of the children enrolled this year. Full details of their achievements are detailed in the report and I am sure you will feel as much pride as I did when you read the progress they are making.
