Dear kind supporter

Three years after opening our cat shelter, we are still incredibly grateful for the kindness and generosity of supporters like you, who helped make this special place possible. Elderly and disabled cats now have a safe, loving home where they can receive the care they deserve.

Every day, our dedicated shelter team, Flori and Aurelia, pour their hearts into caring for our feline residents. Their genuine love for animals shines through in everything they do, ensuring each cat's individual needs are met with kindness and expert care.

The shelter homes up to 40 cats at a time, and keeping it running is a significant commitment. It costs around $50,000 each year to maintain the building. This includes running the indoor and outdoor spaces where the cats live, as well as providing essentials like nutritious food, fresh water, comfortable beds and enrichment toys that keep them happy and stimulated.

For many of our cats—particularly those who are elderly or disabled - the shelter will be their forever home. Whilst others will find their loving forever homes through adoption.

The shelter is also open to visitors, giving locals the opportunity to spend time with the cats. These visits bring welcome companionship and enrichment for our residents, while giving visitors the chance to experience the unique personalities of the cats in our care.

Thank you for caring about our elderly and disabled cats. Your support ensures they receive the safety and love they deserve. We continue fundraising for this project to ensure we can continue to support every cat in need who passes through the shelter doors. Any donation large or small makes a huge difference. Thank you.

Warm regards

Christie W
