Summary

In Con Nosotros A.C. we serve 30 children who receive Conducted Education, an integral model where we work six hours a day, promoting the movement of girls and boys with cerebral palsy. We look for three objectives: to acquire skills for daily life, develop their cognitive abilities and socialize in a school environment, full of joy for all. We want this model of attention to reach more children with this condition of life. Support now with your donation!

Challenge

In Morelos, Mexico there are 5000 children with cerebral palsy. The public system serves less than 5% in a school or therapeutic way. Children with cerebral palsy do not have comprehensive educational spaces to lead them in their cognitive, educational, physical and socio-affective development. This project will allow the School of Conducted Education to remain in operation as a comprehensive care option. It will also allow more children to become part of the School.

Solution

We need to keep the School of Conducted Education open as an alternative for the integral development of children with neuromotor disabilities: a space where people learn to be in community, the rights of people with disabilities and social responsibilities. Through conducted education, it prepares children for their best social inclusion. We need to create inclusive spaces for more students, where society appreciates the talents of people with cerebral palsy.

Long-Term Impact

More children with cerebral palsy will receive the benefits of conductive education. They will improve and strengthen their motor, cognitive and socio-adaptive skills. Your incursion into the world will be more satisfactory. They will learn to know their context and be inclusive with the difference they find. They will play with the elements of plastic art and theater. They will express themselves
