Hello project partners,
I thought you might like to know how the Challenge is going.
Thanks to the generosity of people such as yourself, we have raised nearly $3000. That is an incredible amount, and we are truly grateful for your help in raising so much money in such a short amount of time.
Unfortunately it is well short of the $5,000 we needed to raise to gain a permanenent spot with GlobalGiving. There is so much need in this world, and it looks like we just can't demonstrate enough international support for Wheelchair Basketball as the first project of Disability Sports in Laos.
We are not crestfallen though. With whatever money we raise, we will be able to implement a practice programme. We don't know how long it will be able to run for, but it will be better than has ever happened before.
Of course - there are three days left - so if you happen to know how to ignite another $2,000 of donations - send them our way!
