Breaking the Cycle of Debt for Syrian Families

Over the past period, the need for debt relief among vulnerable Syrian families has continued to grow significantly. Many families are trapped under increasing financial burdens, struggling daily to secure even the most basic necessities such as food, rent, and medical care.

Despite our readiness to support these families and the urgent cases identified by our field teams, we have unfortunately not received new donations during this period. This has limited our ability to intervene and provide relief to families who are urgently waiting for support.

Behind every case is a family facing impossible choices—whether to repay debt or feed their children, whether to seek medical care or cover rent. Without timely assistance, these debts continue to grow, deepening their vulnerability and hardship.

We remain committed and prepared to act immediately once support becomes available.

Today, these families are still waiting.

We hope you are well. We are writing to provide a transparent update regarding our campaign to relieve the debt burden of Syria’s most vulnerable households — those living in extreme hardship and carrying the heavy weight of debt with little means to escape.

No Donations Received Yet — But the Need is Real

Since launching this campaign on GlobalGiving, we regret to inform you that we have not received any donations so far. While this is disappointing, the needs are deeply urgent and the opportunity for you to make a transformational impact stands ready.
