From the beginning, Iraqi Children's Hope has focused on providing educational supplies and support for underprivileged children with mental health issues in Iraq, and while that work will continue, we are moving in a different direction. Help children with cancer!
The Iraqi health system is in crisis. With over four decades of war, conflicts, sanctions, and violence, Iraqis have been left with a deteriorating healthcare system and continuing environmental hazards, resulting in poor health outcomes. In one children's hospital over 100 children are suffering from cancer, because their families cannot afford to pay for the treatment. This particular hospital also has a shortage of medication and examination devices.
Through your donations, ICHOPE will ensure that these children with cancer are provided with the most advanced drugs, medical products and diversified social support. This will ensure the right of each child to medical treatment of good quality and will increase the chances of recovery. ICHOPE will give each child the strength to fight. In combination with this, ICHOPE will use your generous support to fund all required diagnostic tests for an accurate and speedy diagnosis and life-saving.
We believe every child deserves a chance to have good health. We believe every child with cancer should have equal access to the best treatment and care. Our mission, in this project, is to give these children the opportunity for an accurate diagnosis, successful access to treatment, and quality support for them and their families who live in poverty.
