For Education

From the Family Assistance Program, educational content and follow-up at home were implemented. Each family implemented, together with their reference educator, measures of self-care and prevention of contagion, as well as a personalized plan for monitoring at a distance, by phone or through virtual platforms. According to the report "Protection of children from violence during COVID-19" by UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund), the rates of violence against women, girls and boys in Mexico increased significantly during the quarantine . For this reason, our strategy to influence this issue was to provide medical and psychological care, and provide support through workshops for the development of parenting skills and violence prevention. In this way, we attended a total of 77 people during the confinement. 199 Supports for food health. 802 sessions of school accompaniment. In 2020 we had: 1799 psychoeducational care.
In the workshops for parents or caregivers we had an attendance of 10 people, while in the workshop for boys and girls we had a total of 12 attendees, in this way we achieved that each member had tools for their physical and emotional safety within their home. Another action was also the support and school accompaniment, where we achieved the school permanence of 80% of the children and adolescents attended. During the accompaniment, care was also provided for children and adolescents with intellectual and / or psychosocial disabilities.

However, I was motivated to know that despite adversity, we should continue working for people, since the pandemic represented a factor that increased the inequality in which they lived.
