The southern state of India experienced the deadly cyclone Gaja from 16th November 2018 for 5 days leaving many people homeless. The cyclone caused a big loss for the agriculture and loss of huge number of trees. Many of the villages disconnected with other places, no electricity due to damage of electric poles. More than 45 people lost their lives and many people lost their homes and left with shelter camps.
As an urgent need, Prime Trust is aiming to provide support for material that are required urgently needed. Now, it is the time to undertake rehabilitation work such as plating more trees, restructuring houses and school buildings that got damaged. Also it is appropriate to support children in the schools by providing stationary and other school supplies.
With our relief work, we would be able to support the people of the badly affected areas to come back to their normal life. Planting more number of trees, repair the houses and repair the school building would be the long term solution.
