Background: Our clients are adults with a serious mental disorder, mostly schizophrenics. They come to our rehabilitation center at different ages and in different periods of their illness. Some of them have a problem at all to focus on daily activities programs; the others are capable of much more. They are dreaming about work, but, in fact, they cannot perform it because of their illness. Many of our clients have a variety of knowledge and are skilled in some area.
Status till 22st of April, 2015, we finished and used out all raised money from donors for the year 2014.
A brief summary of the progress and results of the project: During the project in 2014, we realized enameling and FiMO workshop for clients .We bought material necessary for the implementation of workshops. Each workshop –enameling and FIMO – took place once a week for a period of two hours. Clients gained new skills.
Work with FIMO, as well as enameling metal cutouts. Products that during these workshops prepared clients, we used in presentations and sales events.
Clients on new workshops use their existing skills, also learned new technology and continue to develop them. During the workshops, they created a great amount of nice decorative objects that we use for sales and presentations. Clients gained more autonomy in these activities and the success of their products increased their self. At the same time, they learned teamwork, mutual support.
We counted this project as very successful and beneficial for our clients -adultswith mental illness.
THANK YOU all donors! With your gift, you give your hand to people with mental health illness to bring them out from their ´s solitude.
Actual status: we would like to continue and expand with new workshop for client for the year
2015.
