Challenge

Our clients are generally underestimated by the society. But the fact is, they can be self-sufficient. However, things that are a part of the daily routine for one person can be a great challenge for someone with mental health issues. Establishing contact with another person, traveling via public transportation, planning daily activities or free time, these are all activities which differentiate a passive recipient of a rehabilitation program from an active person.

Solution

We want to assist our clients in becoming more independent and confident. We want to encourage our active clients in their leadership of workshop activities. By this they can strengthen their skills and start to actively engage in their develompent. Important factor is also to work with the families of people with mental disorders and show, how to help them gain more confidence and independence.

Long-Term Impact

We will help 50 cleints of Dss-MOST to become more independent and self-sufficient. And we will train approximately 100 of their relatives.
