Project Report | Nov 19, 2019
Bringing people together to create a colorful world

By Zuzana Zatloukalova | Project Leader at MOST

Again, good books and great music was read in the Petrzalka ´s Library.

The Listener was held on 25th of October, 2019 in our capital city - Bratislava.

Friday's Listener, the wonderful harmony of word and music, was once again resonant thanks to the unique Mrs. Viera Némethová and her colleagues from library.

Samples from the works of original Slovak and abroad writers were read by well-known faces of the Slovak art scene, book world, but also the faces of Petrzalka´s library.

In the reading room of the library, you were able to see an exhibition of works by clients of our Social Services House – MOST (BRIDGE), ngo. The authors of the works were: Katka, Jarka , Evka, Dušan, Viky, Lacko, Pavel and you were able to read literary works of Monika and Ruzenka. We presented our clients ´poetry and also paintings, whose they created during their mental illness. The clients' art and literary works are unique with a touch of differentness, reflecting personal feelings, experiences. Their dreams prove that people with mental health problems are sensitive observers of their surroundings.

We had the great opportunity thanks to this event to join the public closer to people with mental disorders. Bringing together people from different communities, so they can create a colourful and multifarious world.

Help us to get rid of the myths and preconceptions, so mentally ill people can live better lives!

Yours MOST (Bridge)
