A significant proportion of Sangam Vihar in Delhi, population growth is occurring in the most unplanned and deprived areas with extreme survival struggle. These fights combine to push essential services especially education beyond the reach of children and families living in Sangam Vihar and neighbourhoods. Through our initiative, we aim in imbibing the idea of education as the most important lever for social, economic and political transformation. A well-educated population, equipped with the relevant knowledge, attitudes and skills is essential for economic and social development in today’s society. We have developed an educational model which aims to make students as learners, innovators, scholars, researchers and trainers.

Understanding the dire need of an holistic program for multidimensional growth, our project emphasizes not only on the scholastic raise of the child but we also ensure a balance that matches the child’s maturity, skills, and their interests with their co-curricular activities like sports, art & craft, Yoga, Singing and dance.  It not only kills the monotony of stressful lives of these deprived kids but also help them create new ways to be off the streets.

Eventually for the purpose of intermitting basic education with daily life, theories and post based designed curricula is put in place that would help children stay in classroom and simultaneously relate to daily life dealings. We conduct regular impact evaluation of all 500 students on regular interval and keep a strict monitoring over the growth-fail charts. Not just classroom teaching and learning, we keep a close watch on the school results of the children too. A group of 10 students were randomly chosen from one of our centre to read and assess their school results. Indeed the hard work never goes unpaid. Growth could be minimal but there was inclination in all 10 students. Educators remain in direct touch with school for real time progress report and need of individual child and also to receive positive/negative feedbacks from them for further improvisation.

On this verge, when our children are touching new heights every single day, we would like to express our gratitude to all you selfless donors over the year. You’ve demonstrated your deep commitment and faith in our work and we ensure that every penny of yours goes towards achieving the dreams of these children. With this honoured association of ours, these children now proudly say that they’re “Dreamers-Doers”
