Recovering from cyclones' damage

In the last quarter, we were happy to achieve:

Rehabilitation in Mangunde of 5 classroom blocs, and also the library and laboratory, female and male boarding school, female and male canteen, and guest house. Improvement of each infrastructure (according to needs): replacement of wire nets and mosquito nets on the windows, roofing, repairing of cracks in the walls and floor, repair of doors and windows; glass for windows, painting, replacement of damaged locks;
Installation, in Mangunde, of an submersible pump; tower; 10.000 litre tank; and piping system for teacher’s families and surrounding communities.

The rehabilitation of all these infrastructures is very costly, and other infrastructures are also needing intervention. ESMABAMA is seeking other partners to support other rehabilitation works needed, particularly for the Agrarian school, primary school and maternity ward in Estaquinha and secondary and primary school, bathrooms and storeroom in Machanga.
