Since 2007, $140 million has been raised for rare cancer research—$110 million in the last four years alone. This is a powerful reflection of your hard work and dedication to helping patients beat rare cancers.

Three New Highlights:

1. Cycle for Survival provides doctors and researchers with new cutting-edge technologies to sequence and analyze DNA—all to deliver individualized treatments. Results from the first 10,000 tumors sequenced will be used to match patients with effective therapies. Memorial Sloan Kettering is investing in precision prevention and expanding the Biobanking Center to further advance personalized medicine.

2. MSK is home to the largest pediatric oncology program in the nation. The Department of Pediatrics has pioneered significant innovations in childhood cancer treatments and bone marrow transplants that have set the standard of care for kids fighting cancer worldwide—including a new drug to treat neuroblastoma that recently received Breakthrough Therapy Designation from the FDA.

3. Immunotherapy, born at MSK, is an increasingly potent approach to fighting cancer using a patient’s own immune system. Recently, researchers discovered why some ovarian cancer patients have a varied response to treatment. Cycle for Survival supports studies that take on the complexity of this disease.

MSK is a global leader in cancer research, and your impact is felt around the world. Because of you, Cycle for Survival-funded research continues to open doors for essential new discoveries and breakthroughs.

Thank you again for being a force in this fight—and for helping bring in our millionth donation this year!
