OneWorkforce provides placement and retention services for the most underserved youth. One placement leading to a career path begins sustainable growth for the individual and the community.
More than 1,000 federally and state-funded placement programs currently operate in the U.S. These programs are generally effective in the areas of youth leadership/life management, advocacy, and recruiting at-risk populations, but most struggle to create lasting change for participants through post program placement, in employment or post-secondary education. Particularly in today’s economy, vocational training and workforce development programs must have strong job placement capabilities.
We place youth with multiple barriers to employment in positions that will utilize their training/skills and put them on a long-term career path. OneWorkforce partners with training programs and businesses to implement a career placement program.
As OneWorkforce programs place youth in employment that begins their career path, youth then become responsible to themselves and self supporting.In turn when a community member is self sustaining, the community will become sustainable, one at a time
