Dear 2°C Supporter,
Our 2°C Wavelet project, supporting the UNESCO Ocean Decade, continues to progress.
We have been testing the Wavelet ocean sensors with the support of the University of South Florida, using their Tampa Bay Observing Network data sondes for calibration and validation of observations. This has highlighted valuable and important needs currently being reviewed by our partners in Sweden. These needs address critical function upgrades and end-user functions, which will result in an accurate sensor that requires very little from the divers to do its job to help understand the changes happening in the near-shore, coral reef environment.
However, these sensors require investment to realize the goal and we need your help!
Thank you for your interest in seeing positive change in our oceans!
We hope to have great news soon.
