Summary

Many migrant children in India face chronic malnutrition, driven by limited nutrition and frequent illnesses, leading to stunting, weak immunity, and long-term impacts on their growth and learning. Join Sampark to address this urgent need and ensure that young children from vulnerable families receive the nourishment they deserve. Your contribution will directly help a child receive the nutrition they need for healthy growth and development.

Challenge

According to the Indian National Family Health Survey (2015-'16), 35.5% of children under the age of five in the country are underweight, 38.4% are stunted, and 21% are wasted. Many children are not provided adequate nutrition support due to their transient nature, which hinders their chances at a bright future.

Solution

Your contribution will directly help a child receive the nutrition they need for healthy growth and development. By supporting this project, you are not just providing food; you are giving children the strength to learn, play, and dream. Together, we can break the cycle of malnutrition and create healthier futures for migrant children.

Long-Term Impact

Our nutrition project helps migrant children grow healthier, learn better, and miss fewer school days, ultimately strengthening their cognitive development and giving them a better chance at completing education and breaking the cycle of poverty.
