Mindful Arts: Cultivating Joy and Balance

By Siva Mathiyazhagan | Program Director

Dear Change Growers,

Happy Summer!

We are so grateful for your ongoing support in helping us nurture mental wellbeing through the creative arts. Thanks to your generosity, our campaign has reached it's goal. Your generous support continue to provide meaningful opportunities for youth and communities to connect, heal, and grow.

This season, we are re-strategizing our creative arts for mental health program into Mindful Arts: Cultivating Joy and Balance and continuing our online Mindful Arts sessions through the TYCL website. These virtual gatherings offer a vital space for creative expression, mindfulness, and resilience-building—helping participants find balance and joy in their daily lives. We have reached 100+ youth in our online programs.

As we close summer with light, growth, and creativity—we are reminded of the power of the arts to restore, uplift, and transform. With your partnership, we continue to empower youth with tools to thrive and to create spaces where mindful art becomes a pathway to lasting wellbeing.

Wishing you a summer filled with color, creativity, and mindful joy. Together, let’s keep cultivating balance, resilience, and hope through the arts.

With warm gratitude,

Siva Mathiyazhagan
