Parahu Learning Center has run the following activities since we started the Numeracy and Literacy Classes last year.
1. Numeracy and Literacy Classes for over 250 children from the nearby Musahar communities
2. Capacity-building Training for the 4 facilitators of Parahu Learning Center
3. Monthly Capacity-building workshops for the children on Public Speaking
4. Mithila Art workshop for the children
5. Digital Literacy Classes for the children
6. English Lessons for the facilitators
7. Recreational Activities including sports
We initiated our intervention in the community last year to support the motivation of the facilitators and the children who are ever willing to learn in the communal space. Today, as we look back on the activities we initiated, we have come a long way.
We have been fortunate to receive the support of our partners and friends and wish that our journey will continue in the coming days too.
