Project Update: June 2022
TOT on Public Speaking
We conducted a TOT on Public Speaking for the facilitators of Parahu Learning Center this month. In addition to the TOT, we had an interaction with the first batch of children who will receive the workshops on Public Speaking every month. The workshop aims to develop public speaking skills and build confidence among the 10 children identified for the first batch.
Stationery Drive
The children attending the tuition classes at Parahu Learning Center received stationeries this month. Every month the children are provided with stationeries that support their attendance in the classroom. As a motivation, the supplies have positively impacted the learning of the children.
Extracurricular activities
The children at Parahu Learning Center engage in extracurricular activities every Friday. This month we were able to purchase sports equipment and a Speaker to support their sports classes and dance classes that occur alternatively every month.
