Dear Amazing Leadership Initiatives and Respective Donors,
Because of your generous donation, you have helped us to offer classes at the Regional Business Education Center in Bauchi and create 20 more self-owned businesses in Nigeria. In these classes, leaders and prospective business owners will be taught financial, personal, and business management. It will also be able to serve as a help center for problems and questions that arise. Essentially, this class will offer a 2nd year of business training, allowing businesses that are already successfull to open up new shops.
When successful business owners replicate their original model and expand, more jobs and opportunity for a better life are created. Not only do these businesses help their own community, but also serve as a model for growth in surrounding communities. Project beneficiaries fill voids in the local economy while improving their families' health, education and financial stability.
This November, we will be launching fifteen new businesses in Nigeria. This includes a restaurant, key duplication shop, car wash, and much more. In 2006, Isiyaka opened his own TV Repair shop. The business has been profitable and It has helped him finance the education of his children, both of whom are in nursery school at the moment. Isiyaka has enjoyed doing this business so much. He has even been able to send his younger ones to school. His younger brother just got a job in Bauchi and this makes him proud, to be able to give back to his family from his earnings.
Living in Dass Park Bauchi, Bilkisu is a twenty year old woman who just finished her final exams in secondary school. After graduating, Bilkisu decided to use her experience with perfumes and open up a business; she has been more successful than she anticipated, prompting her to continue expanding her business. With the revenue from her business, Bilkisu is able to support her family while being able to provide for herself.
Our end goal is to be up the economy starting at it's roots. This woud be impossible without your generousity. You have allowed us to continue our efforts and develop independent profit-generating businesses that serve as models for growth in surrounding communities.
Director of Operations Marshall Bailly stated,
"Project beneficiaries fill voids in the local economy while improving their families' health, education and financial stability. Previous leaders have sent their brothers, sisters and children to school, helped invest in new businesses within the community, offered new services to community members such as the disabled, establishing infrastructure for the future growth of Nigeria.
