This report reflects the short and long-term  effects of winter season in the phase of COVID-19 on the socio-economic and environmental aspects of  Pakistan. Winter is the coldest season of the year in some parts of the northern and southern hemisphere, this season is characterized by heavy rain, falling snow and freezing cold temperatures, usually exacerbated by strong winds.

According to the estimates, an economic loss of about 10%, i.e. 1.1 trillion PKR, will be observed in the FY 2021.due The social strata has already lost their earning means and have paid heaviest price due to lockdown in this pandemic.

The unprecedented global social and economic crisis triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic poses grave risks to the nutritional status and survival of young children in low-income and middle-income countries (LMICs). Specifically, we have addressed the Impacts of COVID-19 in supporting malnourished children and have contained nutrition-related mortality. Due to this situation and in the remeberance of 15th anniversary of its dedicated service to humanity, on Christmas 2020, Pak Mission Society extended generous support to reach those socially excluded groups belonging to any belief.

Placing humanity first, we aimed to equip the most 10 vulnerable families through the means to cope, rebuild, and rebound from extreme poverty by providing them with food ration packages, cereals or fortified food and winterized clothes through our project Community Relief Against Covid-19 for Kids as our main motive is to Crack-A Smile.
