COVID 19 has claimed the lives of millions and also has severely impacted the lives of children. For children, the death of a parent, the loss of their caregiver and abrupt changes to their lives have a devastating and long-term impact on their economic, physical, and emotional welfare. With no strong support system, these children are now left with an uncertain future.
PRIDE India works in close association with vulnerable children. As the pandemic has affected the children leaving them with huge challenges ahead, PRIDE India has provided support to 79 children and their families with one-time cash relief transfers to meet their emergency expenses. This support has provided some immediate relief to the families supporting these children helping them to meet the emergency expenses of the child.
These families are sincerely grateful and thankful to the donors, well-wishers and our supporters for reaching out to them in these difficult times.
We request you to kindly continue in joining hands to ensure the safety of these vulnerable communities.
