This project will help protect the rights of the orphaned children who have lost either or both parents especially the breadwinner due to COVID 19.
As the pandemic continues to wreak havoc across the country many have succumbed to the deadly virus battling out their lives at the hospital. This has left many vulnerable children orphaned and traumatized with an uncertain future. PRIDE India, since 1982 has been working towards positively impacting the lives of vulnerable children and their families.
To help these children and their families overcome this trauma, PRIDE India aims to support the affected children who have lost either or both parents especially the breadwinner with the following: Ration kits including food and Hygiene materials for 6 months to help them through this difficult moment. Each food and hygiene packet includes basic cereals, lentils, spices. sanitization materials. One-time support to meet educational expenses like fees, notebooks, stationaries for education.
Our immediate action today can prevent the COVID 19 pandemic from becoming a lasting crisis for these vulnerable orphan children and together we can help them overcome the trauma.
