Dear Friend,

We are very pleased to inform you that our appeal for vegetable gardening tools was responded to by a generous group coming from abroad. The tools that they provided comprised sprinklers, nets, cultivating and watering tools. They also included in their shipment seeds and instructional garden manuals which we can use in the training of the beneficiaries. Upon receiving their support and together with your donations we focused our distribution of the implements and seeds to 2 villages near our project area and targeting poor farming families as recipients. We are able to provide the support to 72 farming families and we anticipate additional support in the coming months. Thank you so much indeed for your generosity.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our home-gardening initiative. This project especially now that the coronavirus pandemic is still negatively impacting the lives of poor families, is very important and provides multiple benefits to all members in the household. The multiple benefits include income, protein source, exercise and prevention of depression. Thanks to all of you who support this project, this reporting period we are able to provide vegetable seeds to 210 beneficiaries. The vegetable seeds are local varieties which can easily grow here. By next reporting period we will aim to provide at least 1 training on food preservation and preparation. Hoping for your continuing support. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kindness in supporting our initiative providing home gardening support during this time with the coronavirus pandemic. Our situation is still difficult with the vaccine long in being administered to the barrio folks but we made it a point to provide regular educational campaign in order to prevent the spread of the virus. This reporting period and thanks also to local supporters and friends who chose to remain anonymous, we scale-up our distribution of vegetable seeds by targeting 3 depressed villages. The seeds we distributed are the common ones comprising tomato, eggplant, squash, cucumber among others. We were able to provide much-needed vegetable seed supply to a total of 400 families during this time. Hoping for your continuing support to this wonderful initiative.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much with your generous support to our project promoting vegetable gardening during this time of the Coronavirus pandemic. Food security is indeed very much needed as the impact to the lives and livelihoods of local people maybe long-term and food which can be sourced locally is of great importance rather than depending on support from the outside. The government is also not able anymore to provide assistance as it is overwhelmed with the needs of the country. During this reporting period we continue to provide much-needed gardening support to 200 farmers thanks to the help of local donors who recognize the need. Hoping for your continuing assistance to this urgent and important initiative.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative promoting vegetable gardening for poor families negatively impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Gardening is an important project for the poor as multiple benefits are provided like food, income and nutrition supply. We are trying to promote the raising of local vegetables where the seeds can be grown again and not the hybrid type. Thanks also to local supporters who have provided us with support to this initiative. Feedback from our beneficiaries shows that they are happy about our support to them. We will continue to provide vegetable seeds and seedlings as we continue this initiative. To date a total of 300 beneficiaries have been assisted by this project.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora
