Dear Donors, once again we thank you for your constant support in this crucial time.
While some states are slowly recovering from the damage caused by the 1st wave of COVID-19, India has started to face the wrath of the 2nd mutated wave. The economy is yet to recover and people are still struggling to find a job for a living and worse are the migrants and the poor people living in rural areas. In such situations, arranging for 2 square meals is a challenge for thousands of families dwelling in remote rural areas.
You will be glad to know that your donation could feed over 1000 families covering over 4500 people who are yet to be able to go back to work.
YCDA is a pro-people's organization working for the rural poor in some of the most remote areas of the state of Odisha in India. In response to the COVID crisis, we engaged our team in identifying the poorest in the communities and ensured dry food ration which includes rice, dal, pulses and eggs which would keep them sustained for over 2 months. We went extra miles in reaching out to the old and ailing persons in the communities wherein we home-delivered the food materials.
And all this could only happen for your generous support.
