Dear Friend,

Thank you very much for your continuing support to our project coronavirus food delivery for the elderly. We really appreciate your support and we continue to assist the elderly as the threat of the coronavirus infection is always present. This reporting period we are happy to inform you that we are able to scale-up our food production effort thanks also to supporters coming from outside who provided us with support. This reporting period we promote food production using local resources in the house among 70 farming families. Aside from small input support we provided technical training which is deemed important in order to sustain their farm production activities. Again thank you very much for your kindness.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your continuing support to our initiative delivering food for the elderly. The coronavirus pandemic is still causing problems especially among the elderly and thanks to the massive vaccination drive and the positive response of local people, the threat of the disease is not so much compared to about 2 years ago. This reporting period we focused our attention to providing small livelihoods to the elderly and their families. We gave importance to value adding of farmer's products by processing and helping them market processed products. We started this with 23 families and we hope to expand our help in the coming months. Again thank you very much for your kindness and generosity.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative delivering food for the elderly. The threat of the virus is still very much present but restrictions have been lifted already, the more that we will be vigilant during this time. Our focus of food delivery is still for farmers and providing them with food and small farming inputs like vegetable seeds and fertilizer in order for them to improve their food security. During this reporting period we are happy that we were able to support 40 farming families thanks also to local supporters. Hoping for your continuing support. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora

Dear Friend,

Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kind help to our initiative coronavirus food delivery for the elderly. This reporting period we focus our work in 2 pilot villages recently affected by super typhoon Odette/Rai in Surigao area. We were able to pool support from other sources in order to provide food for 125 elderly and their families. They are not only affected by the on-going coronavirus pandemic but also with natural disaster that is happening with more frequency in communities here. Together with food we are also supporting the growing of trees and vegetables and we will be supporting the identified communities in 2-3 years time. Recovery of affected families is taking a lot of time and hoping for your continuing assistance to us. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,

Greetings from WAND and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative food delivery for the elderly during this pandemic situation. The problem of the coronavirus pandemic is easing up a bit already as people are vaccinated and borders are opening up. Movement of people are now easy with less restrictions so unlike before. However the elderly is still not encouraged to go out and there is a need for continued food support to them. This reporting period, we are happy to report that we are able to provide direct food supply to 175 elderly living in 3 villages that we are supporting. We chose to provide them with well-loved Filipino food and vegetables. We need your continuing support as we plan to provide to more elderly this coming Christmas season and hoping that you will continue helping us. Thank you very much.

Very sincerely yours,

Cora Sayre
