Starting assessment in affected communities
Dear Friend,
Greetings for the New Year and thank you very much for your generous gift to our initiative helping small business affected by the coronavirus pandemic. We are in doubly difficult situation at present because besides the coronavirus our communities are affected by Super Typhoon Odette wrecking havoc on communities in the Visayas and Mindanao. We are undertaking assessment on how best to respond to these disasters given our limited resources. The recent typhoon was very strong but the problem is that there are only a very few international NGO's who have responded and we are left to our own resources. Hoping that you will continue supporting us. Thank you so much.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora

Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project assisting small business affected by the coronavirus pandemic. The economy is really on a down-turn and we don't know when the situation will be bright. During this reporting period we try as much as we can to support farmers and artisans with small business initiatives and our favorite is the raising of small animals like chicken and ducks which can be easily released to the market as well as backyard vegetable gardening. These are favored because little capital is needed and the return is assured even on short period. For example with the vegetables, harvest can be realized within a month for the leafy ones. We are able to support 15 small farmers mostly women during this period. Hoping for your continuing assistance to this initiative.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora Sayre

Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your support to our project providing support to small business affected by the Coronavirus pandemic. We are in uncertain and difficult times because of the pandemic but thanks a lot to friends and supporters who have provided us with fund to help those in dire need. This reporting period we are able to provide 75 beneficiaries with food packs and hygiene kits. We decided to do this because our beneficiaries are in dire need of food aid aside from support to their business. Our food packs consist of rice, dried fish, canned goods and milk. This is enough for a family of 4 to last them for a week. Hoping that we are able to help more.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
