Thank you for your ongoing support of the Coral Reef Conservation project in the Seychelles. Our research has become a crucial part of Seychelles' conservation efforts.
We continue to conduct extensive studies on reef health and aquatic debris. Your generous donations help us equip for these tasks.
Our efforts include regular beach and mangrove clean-ups, including Dives Against Debris (DAD) dives, addressing waste both washed-up and left by people. This year we have conducted over 17 site cleans and collected over 118 kgs of waste.
In addition to our standard data collection on fish, invertebrates, and corals, we've conducted over 20 endangered species surveys and more than 16 biodiversity surveys in Seychelles this year. Your support with resources for these surveys is appreciated.
Expanding our coastal program, we've initiated baseline studies of the local ecosystem before extensive cleanup and restoration.
We extend our gratitude for your fantastic support, vital for continuing essential research and ongoing efforts to clean debris from the ocean, beaches, and mangroves. Together, we can make a significant difference.
We look forward to updating you next quarter.
