We are pleased to inform you that this project is finished.
With your support and by working in close collaboration with the residents of the "San Antonio de Copo" community, this project is finally finished. 20 families have their rainwater systems already completed, which means they have access to clean drinking water and became less dependent on outside assistance.
The community was involved since the very beginning of this project, determining their real need, designing its solution and heavily involved in the materialization of it. They provided labor and manufactured most of the bricks used for the materialization of the cisterns.
We would not have been able to complete this project without YOU! It is today a fact thanks, among other things, to YOUR SUPPORT! THANKS A LOT!
Keep helping us and let's design a better world. You can find below the links to our current projects:

HI Dear donnors,
We are really glad and happy to share with you that the last roofs to harvest water were completed!!!
With great anticipation for the rains, the last connections are being installed to carry the water from the roofs to the cisterns.
As the project approaches its completion, we are working together with the local comunity on workshops oriented to the Management and Care of the water in the cisterns.
We carried out trainings in the installation of the pumps used for extracting water from cisterns. Each family was given the necessary materials to assemble the pumps, and guided by a technician, the installation was completed.
Once all the systems are complete, there will be one last training to close the project.
Please keep on supporting us on the last steps of this project.
Thank you very much.

As we sahred with you last time, the water tanks are already finished. The last month, we started the construction of the new roofs and the adaptations and repair of the existing ones.
The activities progressed more slowly during the months of January and February due to the intense climate in the region during summer and the period of vacations. But we restarted again fully recharged during March!
At this moment, there are 9 families which have the systems almost ready: The roofs and connections are almost finished and the systems are closer to become a reality!!!
Another 8 families started working and preparing everything for the construction of the roofs. As you can see in the pictures, more structures for new roofs are already started. The goal is to have them finished by the end of April.
Than you very much to keep suporting this project. We are realy happy to share with you these incredible advances in the works!
Cheers and until next time!

The project continues in full swing.
We are happy to share that the construction of the 20 water tanks has been completed.
The next step is the construction and / or adaptation of the existing roofs that will allow the capture of water. In total, these tasks will be completed in all 20 homes.
So far, progress has been made on six houses: Four roofs and two adaptations / gutters completed.
Thanks to your support, this project is getting closer to being a reality.
Thank you very much for your effort and please keep supporting this amazing project!

The work could be started despite the difficulties due to the pandemic.
Thanks to the work of the community of San Antonio de Copo and the contribution of those who supported this project, 14 water tanks were already built.
Two work crews have been formed with the inhabitants of Santiago de Copo: one in charge of the construction of the concrete slabs with which the cisterns are built. The other team is in charge of the construction itself.
The next step is to start the construction of the roofs, before the rainy season starts.
Please keep on supporting this amazing project!
Thank you!!!
