CKA understands how challenging professional development can be for young professionals who may not know where to start. Due to COVID, much of what we used to expect in regards to our career paths have been drastically altered. Now more than ever, CKA recognizes this need for active engagement to empower the next generation of Korean Americans and wishes to find the best solution to grant them the mentorship to reach their full potential.
This is a professional development social platform that allows young professionals to navigate and build their personal and professional development through a number of different avenues. Our platform allows learners to access a number of virtual resources tailored to their needs, including 1) media center with training videos, insights, & resources, 2) job, internship, & scholarship postings, & 3) webinars from established Korean American decision-makers and thought leaders.
It will address the fundamental impacts that current events have made on the world and on our community. It will allow individuals access to skills, experiences, & resources needed to successfully move forward as leaders in our community, as well as provide a social support network to deal with identity-conscious issues, such as dealing with societal aggressions toward Asian Americans in public and in the workplace. This unique and exclusive opportunity to connect with peers & mentors.
