Dear Friends of Azad India Foundation,
On behalf of Azad India Foundation I would like to thank you all for generous donation via GlobalGiving. Azad India Foundation has raised $5675 to set up a computer center at Kishanganj. This is phenomenal considering the fact that we were really nervous and apprehensive whether we would be able to complete the challenge. But with the tremendous support and love we did it. Thanks once again. We sincerely hope that this support will continue in our future endeavors as well.
This computer center will start functioning at village Taiyabpur located more than 60 km from Kishanganj town. This will be the first full-fledged computer center in that rural area making IT accessible to the students studying in three high schools within 5-10 km radius. Azad India Foundation plans to introduce 3 months Basic Computer Application course to begin with and will introduce more courses in due course of time.
