AIF is running computer lab with 5 computers in district Kishanganj. This block is selected with in close vicinity of high and middle schools. AIF is imparting 3 months basic computer course keeping in mind the learning ability of the students who belong to marginalized and poor sections of the society. The center is running 2 hours class for students. 3 batches are running every day thrice a week. The centre will impart computer education to 100 students in the second year
Kishanganj district is located in the north-east part of Bihar. The area has witnessed population growth rate of 31.5% in the last decade with little development . According to Census of India 2011, the district's literacy rate is lowest in Bihar at 55.46%, and its female literacy stands is 46.76%.There are no computer centres in rural areas for the students. Poverty is a a barrier for students to look for computer as career option.There are ltd avenues for rural students to get special skills.
The project will provide computer education to the needy students from the poor sections of the society.It will provide access to the girls who due to socio religious barriers unable to pursue information technology.Azad India will help the students in upgrading their skills so that they get better job prospects.The project will improve computer literacy among the students.
The project will provide computer literacy to 100 students year II allowing them to upgrade their skills which will enhance their job prospects.The project will provide easy access to information technology to girls who will constitute atleast 50% of the total students.The project will built confidence and self-esteem among the students.
