Our Computer Lab is Complete!

Fah*, pictured above, eagerly walks into the computer lab everyday after school in order to complete her school assignments and to expand her artistic skills. Fah has the resources to do this because of your support!

We are so thrilled to announce our computer lab is complete! As mentioned in the previous project report, we received a check for $8,000. With this donation and the amount we fundraised through GlobalGiving, we were able to furnish the computer lab with all of the necessities. Therefore, we are no longer fundraising for the full $16,000.

With your help, we were able to buy 8 computers and we received 3 gently used computers from The HUG Project, an organization in Chiang Mai. There is also a printer in the computer lab, which will enable our students to create hard copies of materials in order to take them home to study and turn in school assignments. Your gifts will enable our students to have access to resources that are vital in their success and we are so thankful for all of your support.

We are eager to host our first computer workshop in our new computer lab, which will allow 10 students or community members access to a computer at one time. Our first computer workshop will be about the basics of typing and using Microsoft Word.

Thank you so much for all of your support to our prevention programs!

With hope,

Alaynah Fiedler
