Bring America Home Now

By Donald Whitehead | Executive Director

The Bringing America Home Campaign team hasd successfully expanded our State Captain network to 45 members across 20 states. Training and Empowerment: Developed five informative training sessions, including "Lobbying 101," to empower volunteers to effect change within their communities. The Campaign now has over 1100 members and growing

Advocacy Resources: In partnership with the NCH Policy Team and Executive Director, I created an Advocacy Toolkit and an Adaptive Reuse Bill Template to support our partners. Direct Action: Mobilized volunteers for simultaneous community efforts and Lobby Days focused on Adaptive Reuse. These direct actions began on March 18, 2026, as part of the "Housing NOW: National Lobby and Advocacy Day of Action." Ongoing Coordination: We continue to supervise direct action organizing and coordinate efforts regarding the Adaptive Reuse Bill Template with our state and local partners.
