The Bringing America Home Campaign team hasd successfully expanded our State Captain network to 45 members across 20 states. Training and Empowerment: Developed five informative training sessions, including "Lobbying 101," to empower volunteers to effect change within their communities. The Campaign now has over 1100 members and growing
Advocacy Resources: In partnership with the NCH Policy Team and Executive Director, I created an Advocacy Toolkit and an Adaptive Reuse Bill Template to support our partners. Direct Action: Mobilized volunteers for simultaneous community efforts and Lobby Days focused on Adaptive Reuse. These direct actions began on March 18, 2026, as part of the "Housing NOW: National Lobby and Advocacy Day of Action." Ongoing Coordination: We continue to supervise direct action organizing and coordinate efforts regarding the Adaptive Reuse Bill Template with our state and local partners.

Organized coordinated actions for Housing NOW Day of Action, Homeless Persons’ Memorial Day, From Hope to Home film event, and Adaptive Reuse Lobby Day. Helped organize and manage 2025 NLELC. Coordinated with State Captains and distributed needed survival items across LA.
Southern Field Office: Community Action Now. Organized Adaptive Reuse Lobby Days in Atlanta and the USVI. Held initial regional organizing meetings, identifying a potential state captain in Alabama.
Collaborated with ACLU, tenant advocate groups, Poor People’s Campaign, and the WA Low Income Housing Alliance; refined and promoted the WA Homeless Bill of Rights (HBR). Initiated regional organizing meetings, identifying new partners in Oregon and Alaska. Attended 2025 NLELC, highlighting youth advocates’ work, and organized a letter-writing event for Adaptive Reuse Lobby Day.
