Many smallholder farmers in Ghana face declining soil fertility, crop losses, and environmental challenges due to unsustainable farming methods. This project trains farmers in eco-friendly practices to increase yields while protecting the environment.
Traditional farming methods, overuse of chemical fertilizers, and poor land management have led to soil degradation, reduced crop productivity, and environmental damage. Without intervention, farmers struggle to sustain livelihoods and communities face food insecurity.
This project will provide training on eco-friendly farming techniques such as composting, crop rotation, organic fertilization, and water conservation. Farmers will also receive seeds, tools, and guidance to implement sustainable practices, improve crop yields, and reduce environmental impact.
The project will improve agricultural productivity, increase household income, enhance food security, protect the environment, and promote sustainable livelihoods for farming communities.
