The Centre of Love Foundation has continued to uphold it's commitment of ensuring underserved communities have access to clean water. Upholding the spirit of thanksgiving, we appreciate you for being a valuable player in actualising our goal. Through your generous support, we have achieved the following in the year 2025:
1. Water Supply- Over 5,000 school going children have access to clean and safe water for consumption. This was actualised through construction of various water points within Olympic Primary School in Kibera.
2. Routine water quality testing at all the water distribution points supported by The Centre Of Love Foundation has ensured that water supplied meets the WHO quality standards.
3. Maintenance of existing water kiosks at The Centre of Love Foundation premises and Olympic Primary School has ensured community members have consistent access to clean water.
4. Hygiene promotion - Over 200 youths have been actively engaged in the promotion of uptake of proper water, sanitation and hygiene practices. This was achieved through the Kick it for WASH soccer tournaments that attracted both boys and girls aged 13-20.
5. Distribution of hygiene kits- more than 200 women and girls have been provided with hygiene kits that contained soap, sanitary towels and water drinking bottles.
The above accomplishments are part of a bigger roadmap that will ensure more underserved communities can access clean and safe water. Through the above community entry points, The Centre of Love will bring clean water to more schools and villages within and outside Nairobi in the future.
