Many vulnerable families struggle to access nutritious food due to poverty and rising food costs. This project establishes community gardens to help families grow fresh food and improve household food security.
Limited income and lack of access to land or farming resources prevent many families from growing their own food. As a result, households face food insecurity, poor nutrition, and increased dependence on food assistance.
This project will create shared community gardens, provide seeds, tools, and training, and support families in growing vegetables and staple crops. Participants will learn basic farming skills and work together to produce nutritious food for household consumption.
The project will improve household nutrition, increase food security, strengthen community cooperation, reduce food expenses, and build long-term resilience for vulnerable families.
