En el Internado PAN Miraflores estamos felices de ver cómo la unión de fuerzas solidarias permitió que Casa Sueños fuera una realidad.
Luego de encontrar aliados como ustedes, podemos decir que este espacio es realmente un lugar inspirador, lleno de color y elementos que potencian la imaginación.
¿Qué hay en el interior de Casa Sueños?
En la Sala Conecta los chicos y chicas se conectan con el mundo, con los idiomas y con sus habilidades tecnológicas, lo que les permite hacer parte de procesos de innovación.
En la Sala PANorama reposa la literatura infantil y juvenil, esas lecturas que son por gusto y no obligación. Es una ventana a la imaginación, con la que se conectan con el mundo y con otros mundos de posibilidades.
La Sala Arte-Sana es un espacio para la creación, el arte y la inspiración, donde los niños y niñas tramitan sus sentimientos a través de diferentes expresiones artísticas.
En la Sala Crescendo experimentan y fortalecen habilidades que pueden aportar a nuevos oficios con actividades como robótica, bisutería y artesanías.
El Consultorio Buen Vivir es un espacio para sanar y encontrarse consigo mismo, de la mano y acompañamiento de los profesionales.
Y la Sala Diver-Acción es un espacio abierto bajo techo para activar el cuerpo, expresarse con él y encontrarse con los demás. Un espacio donde la diversión se hace real a través de la acción.
Estos espacios juntos hacen de Casa Sueños el lugar donde los niños, niñas y adolescentes del Internado se hacen realidad sus sueños. Gracias por hacer parte de este camino y transformar vidas a través del afecto con nosotros.
At PAN, we’re passionate about giving the next generation the best future possible. We know that technology is a central part in the future of the global workplace and that’s why in Casa Sueños, besides having rooms for art, reading, and studying, there is a brand-new computer lab for our latest project: Fourth Revolution.
In this project, we focus on giving knowledge about technology, programming, and software skills to 6 girls and 4 boys. They will be able to acquire the skills and training that will guarantee a place for them in the world of tomorrow by opening a world of opportunities.
With the support of la Fundación Ramírez Moreno, ASIA (Asociación de Exalumnos del Colegio San Ignacio de Loyola), Ubidots, and you, our international GlobalGiving donors, we were able to get the computer software and technology to start this Fourth Revolution education. We started with 10 adolescents, but we aim to get scholarships and tools for hundreds of young vulnerable kids who often lack access to these technologies.
Casa Sueños is becoming the dream place for the whole Corporación PAN team and boys, girls, and adolescents who live there.

Nuestra Casa Sueños es cada vez una realidad más cercana, gracias a todos ustedes. En los últimos meses hemos organizado las diferentes aulas para los cerca de 100 niños, niñas y adolescentes que hacer parte del Internado Miraflores cada año, y crear espacios dedicados al arte, la lectura, la atención psicológica y la educación. En nuestra nueva aula de arte hicieron cuadros para exponer en la Feria ExpresArte del ICBF en el Parque Biblioteca de Belén, un espacio para que los niños, niñas y adolescentes de las modalidades de protección presenten sus talentos y habilidades artísticas.
Pero lo mejor de todo es que logramos abrir el segundo piso para tener un espacio abierto y recibir las familias que los visitan, hacer la relajación después de almuerzo, las clases de yoga con Gabriela y muchas actividades con voluntarios y aliados. En diciembre celebramos la Navidad en ese espacio, que se llenó de risas, juegos, música, baile y regalos, gracias a organizaciones y personas que llevaron la magia de esta época para compartir tardes de diversión.
Este 2022 esperamos poder terminar de dotar toda la Casa Sueños con los materiales necesarios como computadores, cuentos, piezas de robótica, arcilla y demás cosas para el aprendizaje, inspiración y la sana utilización del tiempo libre de los niños, niñas y adolescentes, quienes están en un proceso de restablecimiento de derechos. ¡Aún te puedes sumar a este sueño!

To our current and prospective supporters,
Thanks to the help and contributions of people like you we are well on the way to achieving our goals here at PAN. Every year we open our doors to over 7,000 children and their families, but we’re always looking for ways to better enrich their experience at our centre. In this report we’d love to show you what we’ve achieved with the help of your donations and how much more we could do with a small monthly donation.
One of our main aims this year is to rebuild one of our foster homes which was unfortunately lost in a fire. Rebuilding this facility would enable us to provide more safe spaces for the young people in our care, especially for those who cannot live at home for whatever reason. In the meantime we endeavour to find new ways to make our children and young people feel safe, happy, and leave with a clearer path to the future that they want for themselves.
One way in which we support our young people is through our art projects and creative facilities. Encouraging children to express themselves and channel their skills into beautiful pieces that we cherish and display around our centre. For example, this month we’ve been working with our children and young people to repaint our garden to help create a space which better reflects the loving environment we strive to deliver.
Days like these remind us of our mission here at PAN as we bring everyone in our care closer together. This way we can help our young people grow as individuals too by aiding their academic growth in any way that we can. Recently, we accompanied the students of the Baltazar Salazar Institute to the UCO (Eastern Cathololic University) to learn about their higher education facilities. Caring and protecting young people are some of our key initiatives, but helping them build a future for themselves beyond our foundation is key to our work.
Donations from people like you help our young people on their journey to a better future. Like with our new initiatives to combat the rising levels of teenage pregnancy, by educating our young people about sexual health they are given the choice to shape their own lives.
