November was a whirlwind! Many people throughout the United States have been denied their SNAP beneifts for several weeks. Then they were reinstated for some, maybe a partial for others. If you can imagine how stressful that is for working people and their families? Yes. Many of our patrons work full time but still need help feeding themselves and their families. Retired and disabled folks need that help as well. A food pantry is a great resource for those who are looking for assistance.
The Collinsville Food Pantry is here for those who need a helping hand up. We make sure everyone who comes to us gets the resources they need. We also assist smaller food pantries in the area. We have become a local distribution center and share food for them to pass out to their community.
Hunger is a worldwide problem and it is a problem in the United States. Remember that and please support food pantries across our country. Any amount of financial donations can help tremendously. Thank you.
