Code Her Future Kenya

Even as we come to the end of the year 2022 and begin another, we pray that God helps us to band together and continue helping girls in need all over the country of Kenya access key digital skills and job opportunities. We have goals in the year 2023 to enroll up to 100 girls annually into the program and provide them with key digital skills that transform their lives.

We are sending this project report to assure you that your donations and support throughout the year 2022 made a difference and were put to good use. Through your kindness and generosity, we were able to give access to over 30 girls to learn digital skills such as basic computer packages, graphics design, and website design in addition to coding. We believe that with these skills they are now able to be linked to online and offline job opportunities that can earn them income and transform their lives in the end.

The girls at the Ready Aiders ICT Center would like you to know that they are grateful and working extra hard to put your donations and contributions to good use. Your donations pay for the WIFI, rent, electricity, water, and the tutor who transfers the knowledge and skills. It also buys and maintains computers.

Your donation ensures that girls who live in Mathare slums in Nairobi Kenya are given a choice and a voice, things they have been lacking for a long time. They can now choose what to do with their lives and are no longer limited to early marriages or unwanted pregnancies. They now have the voice to tell the world what they are good at and how they would like to be supported. Through this report, they are speaking to you saying thank you, and asking you to do more for them by spreading this project to your workplace, friends, and family for more support.
