Today's era is growing steadily into a global village which demands everyone to be computer literate. To ably address the various current global challenges, one must have a broad knowledge of the available Information & Communications & Technology. This is because ICT has influenced all aspects of human life with the promise of new and improved ways of thinking, living and working. Our school is no exception to this there is a need to integrate ICT.
Our major focus is to end illiteracy and improve on numeracy skills& levels of Primary education completion by at least 90% all kids we enrol. As a social enterprise, we address three key interrelated areas; Reduction of school dropouts before primary level completion that reduces early child marriages. In Uganda, 70% of the learner's rural areas cannot read and understand a primary two English story,with access soft copy (digital books) we hope to do better.
Our school plans to have a 50 networked computer lab well equipped for both Pupils & Teachers to utilise in the daily routine of the school activities through pupils' research, data entry, storage and processing, managing school finances, examination assessment, Admission of pupils & generation of informative reports. ICT training will be integral to the education package provided to children make tomorrow's workforce very competitive in an increasingly high-tech digital environment..
Over 90% numeracy & literacy skill acquisition. Our school strives at enabling all children & Youth at risk to have access basic digital tools and/or infrastructure ,train in creative use of Information & Communication Technologies (ICTs) , critical thinking & build confidence to be resilient in 21st Century.The bottom line goal is to ensure our Children train inSTEN from early years with confidence as upgrade in their studies.
