Clean water for Children in Flooded Areas Vietnam

In the new school year 2018-2019, Lai Chau will have hundreds of thousands of students from primary to middle school will come to schools without school supplies and even personal belongings. Their homes were empty after the flood. All the clothes, household items, blankets, chicken pigs, fields ... were swept away by the flood. They have no books, school supplies to go to school. The government and the provincial People's Committee will provide relief but will only get some of it because of too much damage.
Than Uyen, Tan Uyen, Nam Nhun, and Sin Ho districts, Lai Chau Province were the 4 main location that "Cùng Em Toi Truong" (Along to Schools) group has supported during the August trip. Out of these 4 locations, Nam Nhun is the poorest furthest district of Lai Chau province. It located near the border with Yunnan Province, China and was one of the most heavily affected districts in the historic floods of late June 2018. Nam Nhun is 1388.08 km2 and has a population of 24,165. Nam Nhun is bordered by Sin Ho district in the east, Muong Nhe district (Dien Bien province) in the west, Muong Lay town and Muong Cha district (Dien Bien province) in the south, Nam Ph district (Dien Bien province) in the southwest , bordering Muong Te district in the northwest and adjacent to China's Yunnan province in the north. During the distribution ceremony, some children walked through the forest with landslide to the collection point. Some villages are completely isolated from the provincial roads and now the authorities have migrated to the uplands but due to the road is too far and dangerous so no relief group could reach the villagers.

The main needs are rice, fish sauce, salt, noodles, pots, drapery, bucket, and clothes. The team was able to collect for this campaign in total of $4,550.
Numbers of student received gifts and school supplies at 22 Primary and Middle schools from 4 districts were 12,690 Gifts includes books, pens, notebooks, uniform, backpacks, clothes, medicines, printers and some basic foods.
