Viet Dreams has been providing more than 270 industrial-grade clean drinking water systems ( provides up to 300 litters/ hour) to more than 270 kindergarten, elementary and orphanages in the Central areas of Vietnam. We are calling for fund to fulfill 5 more schools in the area of Quang Binh where thousand of students are facing with the recent powerful floods which contaminated their main source of clean water. This will also provide water for villages around these schools.
The 2 recent floods had totally damaged all clean water systems in these areas , especially at schools. Most of schools or houses are totally emerged under water.
These systems can provide clean drinking water to not only 500 students of each school but people living around can come to schools collecting water for daily use during these storms/floods. These floods happen every year at these locations.
Since our team would visit these sites every 2 months to do the maintenance, so this will really help prolong the systems' lives. In the long term, once students are used to using clean water, families around the area could join schools by buying these water for their families with a much lower fee, then these fee would pay for all the maintenance fund. It would create a healthier and more sustainable environment where children grow healthily with a brighter future.
